Around The Corner Of Angelica

Dear friends!

How have you been? It was a great time observing the hustle bustle of the people in Zaragoza and in a queer manner, they remind me much of Malaysians, only more courteous and considerate and white. I have personally experienced the Spanish’s brand of friendliness and approachability, very warm and fuzzy and very beautiful people too akin to the Italians, just beautiful.

However in this entry, you will witness an area where the Spanish people are a rarity, at least at the moment. This area is where I am going to live in for the coming months and the street I live on has a name – Calle La Prima Angelica.

Why Spanish are rare here? Well, this is the Expo Village built new for expo personnel from all over the world. Hence, one only comes across with some construction personnel around the area. Anyway, a walk ensued after a hearty meal and with camera in hand, sights and sounds were captured so let the photos tell you more of what I saw.

Sights and Sounds

The Apartment

An upward view

Down the road

10 minutes walk - Bus C3 – Bus 20 – 15 minutes walk = Expo site

Around the corner

Around the corner on the opposite direction of the road in the picture above, this is the view. (This and following photos were taken at 848pm onwards. The day is longer end of Spring / Summer)

Behind

This ground would perhaps be the party/farewell area for everyone when the expo comes to an end, perhaps not.

Desolated VS Barrens

An expression of loneliness as I walk further away into the barren lands.

Waterpool Side A

Climbed up a slope and a water pool and tank is visible.

Waterpool Side B

The other side against the construction cranes. The following photo zooms into the little black dot in the center of this photo. (Scroll swiftly to avoid contact with the following photo if you have just taken your meal / haven’t taken your meal…hahaha! You have been warned.)

Garfield turned green

Believe me that my walk had an air of eeriness after witnessing this.

Cartoon Water Tank 01

Not your typical water tank. They have cartoon drawings on them!

Country Side

A B&W shot of the countryside, very serene amongst the construction.

Skyline

As darkness falls and the city lights up, the contrast is simply stunning and you sense life out there.

When the light goes out

It is time to go take that final shot and return.

Picture of the day: Hope

Yes, beyond this land where darkness will loom…there will be light on the other side and I shall be there with You soon, my love.

Next…

The other side

Why am I on the other side? What was the attraction?

All these answered in the upcoming entry!

Till I see you in this blog again, I wish you a great day and fantastic night! Now, go have fun!
