Hola! Hope you have a good day! Now, let me resume where I left off since my last entry from Bus 42.
So eventually, we hopped off the stop that leads to the Expo and decided to pay the Visitor Centre in pursuit of more information of the whole expo site. We walk pass the centre every time we have to spend time working at the site so anyway here we are!
Centro Vistantes
This picture was actually taken from previously and looks like it’s useful since I forgot to take the front shot during this visit, hehe.
Information
These were some of the items that we snagged from the centre for a better understanding of the different exhibition areas within the expo.
Ask and Thou Shall Receive
A free pin. Yup, Steve casually asked and Ainoa, the centre hostess liked us enough to give us one of this each. Nice accessory to have on caps just like how I like it.
Reception
Info booklets obtained here.
BT Push Technology
Observe the top left notice, the one with the unmistakable Bluetooth icon. Visitors who activate their BT on their cellphones are able to receive 1) a picture of Fluvi, the mascot of the expo 2) the expo theme song and 3) a video. That’s some pretty cool Push Technology. Hope it is not abused by advertisers in the future; it WILL be VERY annoying I tell ya.
Fluvi
The mascot of the expo looks uncannily like ET.
Floor Décor

Illumination
As the video rolled, each area lit up accordingly. Interesting showcase.
Experience Room 1a
We were led into the Experience Rooms soon after the showcase ended. In this room, it showcases a large block of ice and the description:
“Two parts hydrogen, one part oxygen.
The simplest chemical compound, the most extraordinary substance.
The essence of life.”
Experience Room 1b
The obligatory block of ice
Experience Room 2
A play with lighting.
The description:
“With natural light, we see this curtain of water as it were made up of small streams of water. With intermittent light, we see water droplets with various movements. In fact, the streams are made up of droplets produced when emerging from pipes, and only when the intermittent light extinguishes can we distinguish these droplets, albeit with illusory movements.”
Experience Room 3
Move your palms over the screen and watch snow appear. This is made possible with sensors aiming at the screen for hand movements. Yet another play with sensor technology.
Well, looks like there is no POTD for this entry simply because this was one of the three spronged entries including the previous two entries from me, all from a day’s outing but with three photography agendas.
So, I guess I’ll end here until I decide to get out and go photographing again to bring you more sights and sounds from around Zaragoza town. Adios~
