Where were you at on the 25th?

For Xmas, we had a quiet dinner at Neroteca.

A peaceful and quiet atmosphere is much preferred these days.

The complimentary bread was excellent with olive oil and roasted salted garlic.

While the starter - toasted panini topped with fresh mushrooms and cheese then wrapped with a thin slice of cured ham was delicious, we can't say the same for our main courses, which were too salty.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed the atmosphere simply because it was not overcrowded. Just wished the food was less salty though.

Some random diners. I thought some of them had looked familiar. Could be the lighting or....the beer, heh.

Leffe Blond - the default beer for me.

So here goes 2010 and comes 2011 real soon.

Wishing all of you a great blessed year ahead.

XOXO

The Tavern @ GAB

So, we had an invitation for alcohol buffet at The Tavern @ GAB.

1 staff. 2 friends. Friday. Freeflow.
And THAT, is seriously cool.

Apparently it was renovated and lost its "Tavern" atmosphere but it felt cosy, so no complaints!

In there, funky old school Heineken beer ads carried by GAB were on display.

Guys chilling out with Girls.
Everyone's friendly with a drink in hand.

They even have a pool table, which was a nice touch. Made me want a fusbal table in the near future =)
Familiar Guinness Ads from yesteryear (Have a Guinness when you're Tired, nice..who needs sleep!)

Found a new liking for Strongbow, a cider drink...fantastically smooth.
Really colorful Heineken posters, I like!

Tiger Beer is less colorful but heck, Tenaga Berganda!

Go. Drink. More. Now.

Go Green.

The very gracious hosts.

I want more alcohol buffet!!!

The MOST significant gift and contribution to my journey in photography from my friends - a Soft Box.

I present to you the results of some random camwhoring with the soft box.

I look forward to more photographs like these. Seriously.

Birthday in the Year 2010

Was a big mash up of people, food and camwhoring. For details of the actual event, go read J. Ting's entry. What will be shown in this entry is the massive load of camwhoring during the event. Everyone in the photos looked great, you'll see. You have been forewarned *wink*

Err...her shadow is crude. Straight like an antenna though.

Ahh...much better!

Less posed = Natural smiles = Better.

Anonymous 2 goes bonkers.

Ting and Tho followed suit.

I sensed a birdy being flipped. Do Not Like.

The Ultimate Wacko Human Lamp.

One of them bound to get defiled and laughed at. (!)

Dream a lil dream

...and jot it down.

I usually forget my dreams as soon as I wake up. Mostly, I do not remember if I had a dream or not at all. However, in this week, I was able to pen down TWO of my dreams in text as soon as it (abruptly) ended and shared it with Saw Wen. Both of them were really bizarre as most dreams usually are but one was really sad on at least 2 levels, while the other was kind of violent and ridiculous at the same time.

The descriptions of the dreams below is slightly edited from the original version. The first follows as below:

1) Dear, I'd a weird/sad dream. I invited the MF for go kart to celebrate my birthday and they purposely wrecked up the karts. I had to pay for the damaged karts. At the same time, I receive news that Jun Jun's parents died mysteriously in Genting and my mom is traumatised by the news and not coping well with it. I was just driving around and crying uncontrollably. Scary!

Please note that: The sadness felt really real! One for the fact that my friends screwed me over during my birthday celebration, second my uncle and aunt passed on mysteriously and lastly my mom suffered a trauma and not coping well to the shocking news. Damn these type of dreams.

2) Dear, I'd another dream. This time as a fugitive on the run. I started out as a normal civilian and some of the MF was planning a robbery. I could only remember that Hanson was in it and it was not just any robbery but one involving high tech weapons and air strikes. Essentially, a modern warfare robbery(?). So the day came and we called for the air strike to the place we were at cause we think that was where the money was. so, bombs rained and the building was badly struck. People were hurt and escaping for their lives. We tried to escape also but the government found us out and hunted us down. We could not flee from the building. I remember feeling extremely afraid and was deciding to make a run for it and get killed in the process or kill myself when I was about to get caught or just end up getting jailed. Finally, Hanson and I attempted to escape and....I woke up. And you know what, I remember I committed the crime all because...I wanted the money to buy a camera lens. That's the LOL part.

The second dream just happened last night! (Has it anything to do with the 1.5 pints of SnakeBite??) When I woke up, I recall the feeling of being afraid of being captured/killed and horrible that I killed many people but in hindsight, funny that all this was for a camera lens. Damn these crazy dreams.

Passion Road

I was invited to Saw Gin's (Saw Wen's cousin) wedding at Passion Road.. It is essentially a functions-only bungalow-turned-restaurant tucked in a . The wedding dinner was held in a low key and intimate manner with family and friends unlike typical hotel wedding dinners, which was a unique experience. But, I guess I'll just let the photos do the talking this time.

All photos taken with the NEX 3. I'm lovin' it~
