A Local Sunset

It was long ago since I last properly viewed a sunset.

As I peeked through the window, I saw a sky that promised amazing lights.

Off I strolled to my favorite quiet spot amidst the hustle bustle and watched the skies.

Take time to enjoy the sunset out there by yourself.

You deserve to enjoy nature's beauty even when things get a little manic.

Stars reveal themselves when you are watching, only if you are really watching.

The Mangkuks @ Fitou

Fitou is a Spanish bar & restaurant at Desa Park City with spectacular lake view at night. Located along the same row with several other food outlets and cafes, the area is surrounded by exclusive houses affordable only by the rich and high society. While the prices may keep most people away from searching for a house there, the food at Fitou was certainly more inviting. It is not by any means cheap, yet for its price including beers, it is worth your while to give it a try especially with a jolly company like the people below.

The highlight of our vist to a bar & restaurant is of course the food and I shall waste no time showing them to you.

This salad is garnished with perhaps one of the most tasty pork strips.
Would you just count how MANY forks reaching for it simultaneously???

Let not the simple looks of this dish fool you.
Those prawns wrapped with juicy bacon covered with bbq sauce give a sweet & sour flavor that WILL make you ask for more.

Succulent black pepper sausages pan fried to perfection served with fries and salad.
This combination is hard to resist

While it looks less than stellar, this dish makes you go HM MMM when you chew on those tender lamb strips and the Ratatouille is absolutely the best mix into the whole picture with its slightly sourish and sweet tangy flavor.

Paella - one of the hallmarks of the Spanish cuisine was another highlight of that night.
I may run the risk of being unappreciative but I was too full to fully enjoy how fresh and tasty the concoction of seafood and chicken cubes in the slightly spicy rice.

Just viewing the food photos makes me salivate. Agree?

Here is us imitating an (in)famous individual's typical smiling expression.
A less than cooperative Jason is seen throwing tantrums behind.

He gave in in the end. What a baby.
 Amy obviously agrees. HA!

We went for a nice walk around the lake and had a nice group shot. I like.

Before I forget, let Steph REMIND you that all pets must be on a leash.
With an appropriately stern look too!

Shortly afterwards, we decided to treat ourselves to some ice cream.
Here are 2 individuals who might want to treat you to some.

Yes, everyone is just enjoying their ice creams in their own way. *yum yum*

This wraps up a feel good night out with excellent food and a jolly company.
More outings @ Fitou? You bet! Cheers!
