The Spontaneous Outings

Spontaneous Outing 1

Spontaneous...seems to be the magic word on a particular weekend. On Friday, I'd a very satisfying gastronomical experience at Paddington's Pancake House. Won't you just salivate over these??

*YUM YUM*

*SLURPS*

I think this is also a good place to hang out and snack away on the delights. Talking about it stirs up the hunger pangs in me.

In a random fashion, alcohol came to mind and the usual suspects were 'summoned upon' to enjoy a merry time. The breezy night after the brisk rain made it a perfect night out...with Heineken.

...and with good company. Nice One, of course :-)

Spontaneous Outing 2

Fast forward to the next evening, dropped by Jason's to check out his camera bag and next thing we knew, 3 of us including Amy were KL bound with me in search of a camera bag but failed.

The highlight of the night has got to be the touristy experience dining at Jalan Alor. As expected, the taste of the food was overrated and so was the price. But hey, all else pales in comparison to having good company plus a variety of decent street food. Oh, no food photos simply because we gobbled them down almost instantaneously *BURP* :-)

But, we could not have allowed the night to pass without some camwhoring so here they are...all in the confines of a compact sedan, such cheap thrills...such fun. In car camho photos n compact sedan space by Jason.

=D

The L Word

"Errrr..."

Not So Spontaneous Outing 3

Not for me anyway. But the following day, the same Jason and Amy almost immediately jumped at the idea of jungle trekking and so there we were, all 5 of us on Sunday morning including 2 suspicious looking people from a certain Big 4.

So, off we huff and puff into the wild.

And then we arrived at this majestic sight! Nature never fails to impress me, everytime!

The quaint stone pile made an interesting foreground to the relentless waterfalls.

We were actually at the first level of the falls.

And at the end of this seemingly tame flowing waters is a giant fall like this one…*G A S P*

Here is the compulsory group photo from Jason.

And what better way to grab lunch ASAP than in a speeding 4WD =) *ROARRR…PSSST* (Yes, the monster of a jeep is powered by a Nissan Skyline engine!)

Once in a blue moon, spontaneous arrangements trumps all the planning and organizing ;-)
