My Crazy Valentine(S)

This is what happened on my Valentine's Day.

I was acquainted with the Digital Rectum. As illustrated in the photo above, it ain't pretty.

That night, 7 ladies smiled at me.

And when I smiled back, they gave me the "whatever" look...damn it.

I also saw 10 human sized rabbits. How odd!

Later on, a stubborn Aussie caused a ruckus.

Moving on, a pervert tried to grope 1 defenseless fella and another helpless fella.

In the end, the pervert was severely punished. Served him right.

What a Valentine that was!

Lady Godiva

Having read some positive reviews of this chocolate outlet in Pavilion, I gathered the usual suspects and checked the place out.

Where Dreams of Chocolate Come True

The tale has it that "Godiva rode naked through the streets of Coventry, in England, in order to gain a remission of the oppressive taxation imposed by her husband on his tenants". - Wikipedia.

Lady Godiva

Also, "the name "Peeping Tom" for a voyeur originates from later versions of this legend in which a man named Tom had watched her ride and was struck blind or dead" - Wikipedia.

I say: While its pricey, try this place at least once!

CNY @ Kuantan: Teluk Cempedak

Right before returning to KL, we made a stop at Teluk Cempedak for some sea breeze. Throngs of people were there despite the scorching sun.

Beach Boy

These teenagers caught my attention. Their playfulness symbolizes such energy and youthfulness, which I find lacking in the modern society.

Its a Beautiful Day!

This wraps up my CNY holidays. What a brilliant trip that was!

CNY @ Kuantan: Reunion Dinner

This is where we have our reunion dinner and also a place that holds many childhood memories since I was born.

That Peeling Wall

After dinner, we wandered along Jalan Teruntum for some night shots. It rained heavily as soon as we made it to the pedestrian bridge, lucky!

CNY @ Kuantan: Part 3

Ahmad warmed up to us while we were roaming the back lanes. He has been working in Kuantan for over 30 years and is witness to the development of the humble town to the modern state it is now.

We left Ahmad after he and his friends wished us "Gong Xi Fatt Chai". Then, we proceeded to the main street - Jalan Teruntum.

The backstreets remained quite the same even after many years, giving me opportunity to photograph some of the oldest architecture in town.

CNY @ Kuantan: Part 1

Okay, 2 days later...I returned to my hometown -  Kuantan, a relatively small town compared to KL.

We went around photographing the older part of town, the scenes while on foot was amazing.

We walked along "Ham Yu Gai" - Salted Fish Street. In the olden days, many shops used to sell salted fish and dried sea produce there that you can literally smell them as you walked along the street.

CNY @ JB

This year, I spent CNY holidays in 3 different states. Starting with JB but there was nothing much to photograph except for some night shots from the condo.
