JL's Wedding ~ The Action Begins!

The action began at 6am. I was given a morning call at 6am by Steph since I was tired out from work over the weekend. At first, I was not sure whether I was able to make it to the morning session of JL's wedding due to work commitments. Feeling glad, I woke at 6am to attend JL's wedding and not going to work. As briefed by JL, we reached his place slightly before 7 as we had to leave for Grace's house at 7.

When we reached his place, he was given the final touch by his mom.
His line of heng tais who did all the work so that he could get his bride.

Arrival at Grace's house. Her chi muis even got the main gate was closed.
JL tempting Grace's chi muis with his angpow

Shocked with the first stunt that they had to do! Nonetheless, JL got to work quickly. Time is precious. He had to write "Grace, I Love You!" on his heng tais stomach.
Mission accomplished. Gate was opened.
The goodies that was prepared for the heng tais - preserved beancurd, chilli padi, bittergourd, sugar, wasabi, vinegar and chilli sauce...yummy!
Brain power put to test - Sudoku. One of the heng tais was asking how is Sudoku played. I told him he had 2 minutes to learn how to.
Moving on, pumping of 88 times!
Meet the parents.
More goodies for the heng tais
Fear factor live at JL's wedding. Sweets mixed with some dried bug which the heng tais had to pick out using their mouths.
After all the ups and downs, JL finally reached his bride!

Tea ceremony for the family.

Grace & JL with his heng tais who did well! All for JL's love for Grace.

Arrival at JL's house. Young cousin who opened the door for him.

The sunflower arrangement on the table. Nice?
Tea ceremony for JL's parents.

A picture with Pn Wang, an ex-high school teacher who asked JL where was his glasses. Hah!

Stay tune for the finale of JL's Wedding entry. I shall continue with the wedding dinner pictures. Be patient!
