Where were you at on the 25th?

For Xmas, we had a quiet dinner at Neroteca.

A peaceful and quiet atmosphere is much preferred these days.

The complimentary bread was excellent with olive oil and roasted salted garlic.

While the starter - toasted panini topped with fresh mushrooms and cheese then wrapped with a thin slice of cured ham was delicious, we can't say the same for our main courses, which were too salty.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed the atmosphere simply because it was not overcrowded. Just wished the food was less salty though.

Some random diners. I thought some of them had looked familiar. Could be the lighting or....the beer, heh.

Leffe Blond - the default beer for me.

So here goes 2010 and comes 2011 real soon.

Wishing all of you a great blessed year ahead.

XOXO

Man I love neroteca. The pasta dishes are pretty good and not that very expensive. We like to order the cold meat platter but it cost a bomb at 100 over a plate.

Our last time there, it wasn't that very pleasureable because the head chef was shouting which made the dining experience not so great.

Still like the food and atmosphere there.

Ting: It has decent atmosphere but not a place I'd revisit anytime soon due to the previous incident. I might simply for the cured ham on rock melon, the fused flavor is delicious!
