Tom'_ Dick _ _ Harry

Care to fill in the blanks? Hehe.

We were looking forward to go somewhere in conjunction with Arthur's Day and decided upon Tom, Dick & Harry's. I've been bookmarking a few eateries which I found online and this happened to be one of them.

Essentially a pub located at TTDI, it is famous for it's pork dishes and snacks. Unfortunately, Guinness was not on their menu! Bummer for Arthur's Day so beer it was for us.

What we had was their fries, which was surprisingly good. Like McD's fries but theirs are of the thicker variant. Not satisfied, we continued with their pork platter (I forgot the actual name :-S) which has snacking portions that is good for 4 pax of ham, sliced & pan fried sausages and also pan fried thin slices of juicy pork. This really makes for a delectable party snack. This snack WILL make an appearance at Steph's Xmas & NY Eve party! Okay Steph?

While we're on the topic of food, just thought I'd load some related photos.

At Moon Garden in Taipan, this is Wen laughing at something a stranger passed to her and her colleagues.

What's so hilarious you ask?

Apparently the job description reminded her those of prostitutes i.e. Mix Business & Pleasure Together. Hmm...I don't know. You tell me.

T'was a really warm day. Glad I'm on the inside viewing through the looking glass.

Oh, this was what I had...mushroom soup with puff pastry on it (again, I forgot the actual name. Damn I gotta make notes from now on). This reminded me of Dome's which was really good but cost way less @ RM7.90. I have always loved puff pastry because they're so puffy :-)

Fast forward to dinner, we visited Betty's Midwest Kitchen @ Aman Suria. Their tagline was America on a Plate. Sure, but the plate and its contents would probably weigh 1 million tonnes with all the overweight Americans on it. Hehe.

We had a blast of a dinner! But before we go to that, check out the interior.

Returning to the food, here they are:

Carrot & Ham Soup

Tastes like one of those really flavorsome home cooked soup. Deliciously spicy and substantial with its contents of carrots, ham slices and some vegetable I dislike but works well with the soup.

Cheese Burger

Unlike your typical TGIF or Chilli's oversized and mostly lack of flavor burger, this one is still big but well proportioned to just take a bite off it rather than cutting it down to manageable size. The patty is also succulent, which brings out the flavor along with the condiments. The fries are less than stellar unlike those found at Tom Dick Harry.

Pork Chop

This was the highlight of our meal. You just have to sink your teeth into the tender meat dipped with the sauce to appreciate it. The peas tastes fresh too. A big winner this.

We actually arrived at Betty's at 5.40pm and was done with our meal by 6.20pm. That was how hungry and of course how delicious the food was. On another note, the restaurant is usually packed  from 6.30pm onwards so be sure to reach there earlier!

Here is Si Comot during the meal *nyum*

And as usual, let's all go to Betty's together yea!!
