A Premeditated Dinner for a Birthday

There was this group of long time high school friends that gathered at a quaint Thai restaurant for dinner. It was understood as an outing due to the lack of meeting each other for a rather long time since each and everyone had commitments of their own lives with some more private than the others. Yes, the sign of the people around you becoming adults and older more matured knowing what they want to achieve in life with the mere 24 hours each day. Everyone is growing up and here is everyone (save for those who are working in a foreign land). We hope you are growing too!

Everyone.

Everyone.

Nonetheless, age is merely a digit…a blissfully ignorable figure in tandem with the equally subjective measurement of time, they are fourth dimensional. Why spend a lifetime counting down the time you have left or have lived, when you can BE YOUNG living the moment? Not so much in the “age” sense but in things that you do. And so the group of friends did…they became Guitar Heroes/Heroines. Such group spirit in their facial expressions!

Light hearted moments =)

Laughter IS the best medicine =D

Now, allow me to present you some hidden talents and solo acts amongst the crowd.

Rocker Chick!

Who could resist the legendary Michael “Joshua” Jackson belting out tunes other than his own?

The answer: Everyone =)

Here we have a non-identified girl appreciating this very (in)famous solo act’s performance……

By shutting her ears. LOOK! x_X"

Before I forget, didn’t we have Spice Girls Herb Ladies rockin' da haus? Indeed we had, with SIX lovely members!

Here are five of them being photographed for posterity, leaving the sixth member rocking elsewhere in the hall.

What is a group outing without couples camwhoring in style? Here are 3 of them which I managed and here I nickname the couples for simplicity’s sake (cos y’know, the fingers get tired typing out that few more alphabets.) Ain’t they pretteh?

Angel-Ming

(cos Kok Angel sounds WRONG)

Han-Therine

(cos Cat-Son DOES NOT sound right)

To this group of strangers turned good ol’ friends, a salute should be in accord but hey, those are for the “OLD”…here’s a MASSIVE CHEERS for the young ones! And a very Merry Birthday to a particular Jin “CHRIS-on-TOP-of-HER” Siang….of course :-)

To the future that lies ahead, we hope it lies less to us. Cheers!
